Version 0.2.0 · Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit · 3.5 MB installer

What you need

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • 3.5 MB. The installer is smaller than most PDFs you will put through it.
  • No .NET or Java to install first. It uses the WebView2 runtime that ships with Windows.
  • An internet connection once, if you buy a licence, to register the key. After that it works with no connection at all.

Three steps

  1. Import. Drag in a PDF, a folder of images, or individual PNGs and JPGs.
  2. Arrange. Drag pages into order, choose a cover, delete the rest.
  3. Create. Preview the real page turns, then save one .html file.

What comes out

The cover of Limestone and Sea, a property collection made with Flippique.
Limestone & Sea · A property collection. Flip through it in a new tab

One file. Email it, put it on a USB stick, or upload it to your own website. There is no hosting to pay for and no link to keep alive.

What it does not do

Worth knowing before you download, because no comparison table will tell you:

  • The text in your book is not searchable. Every page is rendered as an image, so a reader cannot select text or use Ctrl+F inside the flipbook. If searchable text matters more than page turns, a plain PDF is the better format and we would rather say so.
  • It is not a design editor. Flippique adds the page turn; it does not lay pages out. Design in InDesign, Canva, Word or anything else, export a PDF, and bring that in.
  • Links in your PDF carry over on paid plans only. On a paid plan, a clickable link in the PDF stays clickable in the flipbook. On the free plan those links are flattened.
